We use locally sourced Hemlock board and batten siding milled by our local sawyers right here in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. Our Nesting Boxes
As a standard, our coops are built with a drop-down face nesting box. This prevents any moisture or snow from rolling back into the nesting box when the lid is opened. Additionally, this allows for easy access to the eggs which is an especially nice feature for children who may be doing the gathering.
However, if you prefer a flip-up lid, we can certainly accommodate your request.

Our metal roofing is available in a wide variety of colors.
With all our roofs you can expect a vented ridge cap, an end rake, and a drip edge to effectively protect the wood while providing that clean and finished look. We use condensation preventing insulation beneath the metal on all buildings intended for animal use.
